Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with JDM House. We are committed to getting your parts to you securely. Because we handle a wide range of specialized, bulky, and imported automotive components, our shipping processes are designed to ensure your items arrive safely. 

By placing an order at www.jdmhouse.com.au, you agree to the following shipping terms:

Order Processing Times Processing time is the time it takes for us to pick, securely pack, and dispatch your order. This is separate from the transit time taken by the courier.

  • In-Stock Items: Orders for locally stocked items are typically processed and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days. We take this time to ensure bulky, fragile, or heavy items receive the specialized packaging and handling they require for safe transit.

  • Back-Order & Long Lead Time Items: We offer an extensive catalog, meaning some specialized parts are placed on back-order or made to order. Back-ordered items will be processed and shipped as soon as they arrive at our local facility. Please note: Due to manufacturing schedules and international sea/air freight variables, lead times on back orders can vary significantly. We will endeavor to provide you with an ETA where possible, but these dates are estimates only.

Mixed Orders (In-Stock & Back-Ordered Items) If your order contains a mix of in-stock items and back-ordered items, we will send what is currenlty in stock or in some cases will be held and shipped together once all items are physically available in our warehouse. If you require the in-stock items urgently, we recommend placing two separate orders or contacting us to arrange split shipping (additional freight charges can apply).

Shipping Timeframes & Courier Delays At checkout, you may be presented with estimated delivery timeframes.

Please note: All shipping timeframes listed at checkout are estimates and guides only; they are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once a package leaves our facility, transit times are entirely controlled by our third-party freight and courier partners. JDM House is not liable for delays caused by the courier network, weather events, peak holiday periods, or missed delivery attempts.

Bulky and Oversized Items Automotive parts frequently fall into oversized or heavy freight categories (e.g., body kits, exhausts, seats).

  • Special Handling: These items require specialist couriers and cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers. Please provide a physical residential or business address, if an address is not elligible for delivery we will use the closest depot for collection. 

  • Freight Adjustments: While our website calculates shipping as accurately as possible, highly remote locations or exceptionally bulky orders may incur unexpected freight surcharges. In the rare event that the actual freight cost drastically exceeds the checkout calculation, we reserve the right to contact you to discuss a tailored freight quote or offer a full refund if the revised shipping cost is not suitable.

Damaged in Transit We pack our items meticulously, but transit damage can occasionally occur. Please inspect all packages immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, you must contact us at sales@jdmhouse.com.au within 24 hours of signing for the delivery, including detailed photographs of both the damaged item and the external packaging.
